The 12mm thru-axle hubs spin on CeramicSpeed bearings which increases the durability and increases your speed up to a higher extent.

MONOCOQUE CARBON RIM

The new Five aims to take advantage of the one-piece monocoque carbon rim, spoke & hub construction to create a lightweight climber’s wheel that delivers smooth and aero wheel performance on your bicycle.

FIVE is ideally suited to long days in the saddle, adept at climbing and turning it on when the going gets fast on the tarmac. The one-piece wheel structure has been carefully optimized with CFD software for superior handling and faster performance over traditional mid-depth steel spoked wheels.

Black Inc engineers have validated the wheel’s performance in their CFD and FEA models ensuring exceptional aerodynamics and strength based on real-world road conditions. Their rims feature a wide NACA aerofoil-based profile with a hooked-tubeless 21mm internal width, 28mm external width optimized for 25-28mm road tires, and a 30mm rim depth
